Marcia Ann Wagner

Born Marcia Ann Childers in Baltimore, MD on August 24, 1948 to the late Marion and Evelyn Childers. After graduating from high school, Marcia married the love of her life Harry C. Wagner, Jr. They were married 52 years and raised two beautiful daughters, Jenifer and Susan. Marcia enjoyed her time working as an administrative assistant for the Maryland State Police. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Odenton Volunteer Fire Company. Marcia enjoyed camping, playing bingo and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandson. During the Odenton Volunteer Fire Company’s carnival, Marcia could be found working the funnel cake stand.

Mrs. Marcia Ann (Childers) Wagner, age 71, passed away peacefully at Futurecare Chesapeake in Arnold, MD on July 30, 2020. In addition to her parents, Marcia was preceded in death by, her brothers Vernon and his wife Dotty, Wayne and his wife Ann, and Dale Childers, Sr. and his wife Vickie. Left behind to cherish the memories of her is her husband Harry “Chip” Wagner, Jr., her daughters Jenifer L. and her husband Michael Dooley of Littlestown, PA and Susan W. and her husband Jon Hartley of Severna Park, MD, sister Cheryl and her husband Jeff Wade, Sr. of Severn, MD, grandchildren Allison Robinson, Nicholas Dooley, Rachel Hartley and Kara Hartley and great-grandson Rhett Robinson and many nieces and nephews. Marcia was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Friends may call on the family Friday, July 31 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 1, 2020.
