Margaret E. Edwards

She was born Margaret E. Beacham in Baltimore, MD on July 6, 1928 to the late James R. & Margaret R. Hornberger Beacham.  A longtime resident of the Woodlawn area, she has lived in Glen Burnie since 2004. Mrs. Edwards was a 1945 graduate of Catonsville High School. She was an active member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, helping to serve weekly meals to senior citizens and volunteering in the church nursery. She enjoyed trips to Virginia to gather with family. She was an avid gardener who treasured time spent with family, especially her grandson and great-grandson.  In addition to her parents Margaret is preceded in death by her late husbands  Donald Todd, John Kolb and Charles Edwards as well as her son Franklin James Todd and brother James R. Beacham, Jr.  Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Janet T. Becker of Glen Burnie, son David D. Todd of Glen Burnie, brother George Beacham of Florida, grandson David James Todd and great-grandson Gabriel James Todd. Mrs. Edwards passed away peacefully after being in declining health for some time.
