Margie Muriel Nogueira

Born Margie Muriel Babylon on April 21, 1927 in Woodbine, MD to Roland Edgar Babylon and Mary Catherine Babylon (nee Conaway). She lived in Maryland until moving to Edgewater, Florida in 1989. In addition to her parents, she is preceeded in death by her husband of 62 years Wallace "Wally" Nogueira who passed away in 2009 and a grandson Manuel Nogueira. She is survived by her son Dan Nogueira and his wife Marjorie of Glen Burnie, MD, daughter Nancy Riffenburg and her husband Charles of Edgewater, FL as well as a grandson Charles Riffenburg, III of St. Augustine, FL. Margie worked as an LPN at Springfield State Hospital in Sykesville after WW II where she met her husband. She received a degree in Hotel Management from the AMM School as well as an A.A. Degree in Business Administration from Anne Arundel Community College. In Florida she worked in Real Estate and as a Walmart greeter. She loved spending time with her family and her cats. Margie was an avid reader of Science Fiction Mrs. Nogueira passed away peacefully in her home after an extended illness and will be greatly missed by her loving family and dear friends.
