Marian F. Derossett

Born Marian F. Dodd in Washington, D.C. to the late Charles Dodd and Ann Mendoza (nee Huffman) Mrs. DeRossett lived most of her life in the Glen Burnie area, recently returned from North Carolina. She worked as a computer operator for the federal government, working both for the Social Security Administration as well as working at Ft. Meade. She enjoyed spending time on Computers, Music, Scrapbooking and she was a collector. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Charles Dodd. Survivors include her daughters Janet Woodham and Joanna Jenkins of Florida and Shelly Ackerman of North Carolina as well as brother James "Chris" Dodd of Florida and sisters Kathryn White and Linda Griffith, both of Glen Burnie. Marian is also survived by grandchildren Jennifer and Mary Jane Byrnes as well as three great-grandchildren. She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family following an extended illness.
