She was born Mariee D. Dickison in Kentucky on February 1, 1929 to the late James Madison Dickison and Ethel Oney Dickison and was a resident of Severn for the past 62 years. She took great pride in caring for her home and family. Mariee was an excellent cook who canned her own fruits and vegetables, an avid reader and she was a collector of plates.  Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband John A. Braun, sons Eric John Braun of Pasadena and Scott Dickison of Severn as well as grandchildren Randee Alt, Alex Reusing and Toni Braun as well as 4 great grandchildren.  Mrs. Braun passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
