Marilyn Marie Helmrath

Born Marilyn Marie Olear in Buffalo, NY on August 2, 1935 to the late William and Marie Olear. She grow up in New York, and for the past 25 years she was a snowbird going between in Maryland and Florida. Marilyn was an elementary school teacher. In her free time, Marilyn enjoyed playing computer games, watching football, traveling and crocheting.

Mrs. Marilyn Marie Helmrath passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center on December 20, 2019. In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband William George Helmrath. Left behind to cherish her memory are her son William Schoen Helmrath of Ashburne, VA, her daughter Lisa M. Shaw of Carvel Beach, MD and grandchildren Trevor Shaw, Ashley Shaw, William P Helmrath, and Ethan Helmrath. Marilyn was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
