On March 26, 2012, Mark D. Gibson passed away after a brief illness. Born in Indiana, Mark lived in England for the past year and in Glen Burnie, Maryland, prior to that. Beloved husband of Carole S. Gibson (nee Edmisten); Devoted father of Aaron Mark and Rachel C. Gibson of Severn and step-father of Brian M., Kevin D., Stephanie J. and Ashley L. Winkler of Ohio; Loving son of Cora S. Deter of Indiana and the late David M. Gibson; Caring brother of Tammy S.Percy and her husband Paul of Wisconsin and Becky R. Hand and her husband Kraig of Indiana. Mark is also survived by many loving family members and dear friends. After graduating from Indiana University in 1986, Mark went to work for the Department of Defense. He was a blood donor and a courier for the National Donor Marrow Program. Having a passion for music, Mark played the trumpet and was a member of the White Rose Concert Band in England and had the honor of playing with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra twice. Mark was an active member of the Oakwood Wesleyan Church in Glen Burnie. He enjoyed biking and playing racquetball. Most especially, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
