Mary L. Franklin

On June 5, 2011, Mary L. Franklin of Severn passed away. She was 88. Beloved wife of 60 years to the late Edward J. Franklin; Loving sister to the late Eva Clark, Alice Wheeler and Bruce and Nelson Clark. She is survived by her loving sister-in-laws Shirley Pumphrey and Josephine Franklin and many caring nieces and nephews.

A 1940 graduate of Glen Burnie High School, Mary worked for over 40 years as an Office Assistant and Bookkeeper for the Ben Franklin Stores.  She was a member of the Glen Burnie United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader and liked to sew and tend to her flower garden. Mary was remembered fondly by her family for being an exceptional cook and baker.
