Born Mary K. Boyce in Baltimore, MD on January 3, 1933 to the late Ruth Klimas (nee Sherman). Mrs. Garde lived in Pasadena for many years until declining health caused her to move to Dundalk to live with her daughter Brenda Garde and Steve McGeeney. During her working life Mary worked as a machine operator for Page Paper Box Factory in Baltimore as well as several other jobs. She enjoyed country music and was a huge Elvis fan but her family was the center of her life. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Arthur Everhardt Garde, Sr. and a son Wilbur J. Garde. She is survived by her children , Theresa Lee Hall of Pasadena, Diane M. Anthony of Marcus Hook, PA, Arthur E. Garde, Jr. of Pasadena and Stanley K. Garde of Glen Burnie as well as 3 brothers and a sister. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She passed away peacefully at the Hospice Unit of Franklin Square Hospital after being in declining health for some time.
