Mary P. Janaskie

Mary P. Janaskie was born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania on March 14, 1928 to Joseph and Frances (Riberic) Kancianic. Mary has been a Maryland resident since 1952; the year after she married her husband, Adam. She retired from Maryland Paper Cup where she began working on the assembly line and worked up to a management level position. She was a member of the Pascal Senior Center. Mary loved walking, gardening, and bird watching and she never missed an opportunity to dance with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed family time together and was especially excited around small children and pets. Mary was loved by all and a joy to be around. She will be sorely missed.

Mary is preceded by her parents and her husband, Adam P. Janaskie. She is survived by her children, David L. Janaskie (Cindy) of Salisbury, Gary R. Janaskie (Jennie) of Salisbury, Carol A. Stylc of Hanover, Jane R. Breitenbucher (Karl) of Woodbine; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit at the KIRKLEY RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Friday, August 27 ^th , 3-5 pm & 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 28 ^th , 1 pm, Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
