Mary A. Larche

September 12, 1925 — January 17, 2025

Severn

Mary was the daughter of William J Pribyl, Sr. from Rovno, Ukraine (was Soviet Russia) and Mary F Sadlo of Baltimore.  The Family owned and operated the popular Pribyl’s Bakery back in the late 1920’s, through the depression, and into the early 50’s.  It was located in Baltimore at the intersection of E. Eager St. and N. Badford St.  She is survived by her 2 younger brothers Edward (age 97) and Louis Pribyl (age 95).  Her 2 other siblings, William and Theresa, are deceased.

In 1945 she married Morton H. Larche, Comptroller USCG Yard Curtis Bay, from where they had met and worked.  Together they raised their 5 children in Glen Burnie: Carole (deceased); Robert; Timothy; Linda; and Betty (deceased).  She and Mort had retired to Spring Hill, Fl. In the early 70’s.  Mort died unexpectedly in 1975. Shortly thereafter, Mary returned and brought with her some of her family. She then finished the career which she had started working earlier at the MVA in Glen Burnie.  She retired after completing 20 years of service.  During this time and earlier, she was also very active in helping raise and support 3 of her grandchildren. The family will celebrate her life with an inurnment service at Grace Memorial Park in Spring Hill, Florida
