Mary Elizabeth Saulsbury was born November 24, 1927 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Florenze Eugene McCarthy and Madeline Elizabeth McCarthy (nee Jones). Mrs. Saulsbury was a resident of Linthicum, and a very dedicated member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. She was a Eucharistic minister, a member of the Ladies Sodality and head of the Altar Society. She was also a third order Carmelite and a member of the Mom’s Club at St. Joseph’s Monastery. She worked many years as an executive housekeeper at the Belmont Conference Center in Elkridge and also at General German Aged People's Home in Irvington. In her free time she enjoyed square dancing with her late husband and gardening.
Left to cherish her memory are children John Saulsbury, David Saulsbury and wife Sharon, Theresa Fries and husband Robert, Mark Saulsbury and wife Susan, Michael Saulsbury and wife Judy, Elizabeth Schwartz and husband Larry, Rose Marie Readmond, Mary Lynn Collins and husband Kent, and daughter-in-law Frances Saulsbury. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years Wilbur Saulsbury and her grandson Nicholas Saulsbury
Mrs. Saulsbury passed away April 18, 2018 at the Neighborhoods at St. Elizabeth Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
