Mary Agnes “Rusty” Watson, devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was reunited with loved ones in her Heavenly home on March 23, 2026, leaving a legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories. Born Mary Agnes Greenfield on April 21, 1937, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Philip Greenfield, Hilda Morrisey Greenfield, and Ruth E. Greenfield, known as “Mother Ruth.”

Affectionately known as “Grammy” to her family, she resided in Glen Burnie, Maryland, since 1955, where she established a life rooted in family, community, and steadfast commitment. She enjoyed a distinguished career as an account manager with the Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund, was widely respected for her professionalism, expertise, and dedication to her work.

She found great pleasure in life’s simple joys. Grammy was an avid supporter of the Baltimore Ravens, enjoyed bird watching, traveling, as well as being an enthusiastic gardener. She took particular delight in hosting gatherings for family and friends. Christmas was her favorite holiday where she spread the joy of the season with each generation of children that she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Lee Watson, and her son, Philip D. Watson.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna (Bob) Campbell, Paula Watson Hose; her grandchildren, Matthew (Julie) Albrecht, Jessica (Josh)Zimmerman; her great-grandchildren, Brayden and Zaine Albrecht, Ashley and Dylan Zimmerman.

Family and friends will remember Grammy as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose kindness and warmth touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
