MaryAnne Moreland, 56, longtime Glen Burnie, died August 26, 2015. She was born December 19, 1958 to the late Robert and Marian (Bedford) Miller in Washington, DC. MaryAnne was employed with the Maryland State Police Department as a Police Communication Officer for over 28 years. She was a longtime member of Baldwin United Methodist Church. Glen Burnie and going to the carnival annually is just a start of the lists of "loves to". The list also includes shopping; country music, especially Alan Jackson; yearly Vegas trips and weekly dinners with her friends and at the top was the love she had for her grandchildren. She will be remembered by her "Buckeyes" at Christmas and her Homemade Brisket. She is preceded by her parents; siblings and former husband, Michael E. Moreland. MaryAnne is survived by her son, Jason Moreland, Sr. and his wife Cristie of Severn; daughter, Shannon Bigelow and her husband Evan of Glen Burnie and grandchildren, Jason Moreland, Jr., Victor Bigelow, Mason Lee Miller Moreland and Jayelyn Moreland. Friends and family may call at the family owned Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home, P.A. on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 5-8 P.M. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, September 1st 10:00 A.M. at Baldwin Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to gather at the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:00 to process to the cemetery.
