Master Sergeant Maurice Anderson was born on January 11, 1979, in Burlington, NJ and passed away on April 1, 2026 in Baltimore, Maryland. He is survived by his devoted wife, Angela Anderson, and their cherished children, Amyah Syan, Alayna Jade, andMaurice Gabriel. He is also survived by his loving parents, Raymond and Cynthia Bradbury Anderson, and his brother, Raymond Anderson, Jr. In addition, he leaves behind his parents-in-law, John and Deborah Robaczewski; his sister-in-law, Erica Robaczewski; his brothers-in-law, John and Evan Robaczewski, and their families; along with many nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved. Maurice was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Reverend Melinda R. Brandberry-Wall, whose faith and compassion greatly shaped his life.
Maurice proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2000 and served with distinction until his retirement in 2022. Over the course of twenty-two years, he dedicated his life to defending our nation, upholding the values of democracy, and working tirelessly to create a better future for generations to come. During his exemplary service at Fort George G. Meade, he served as an Analytic Lead, Deputy Mission Director, Tech Reporter, Digital Network Analyst, Organizational Lead, and Senior Training Manager. Following his military retirement, Maurice continued his service to national security as a contractor for the National Security Agency, where his leadership, dedication, and integrity continued to inspire those around him.
Those who knew Maurice will remember his steadfast commitment, gentle strength, and unwavering devotion to his family, colleagues, and country. His legacy of service, compassion, and humility will live on in the many lives he touched.
Visitation will be held at Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home located at 431 Crain Highway S.E., Glen Burnie MD, 21060, on Saturday, April 11 from 12-3PM. A funeral service will follow at 3PM. Maurice’s family welcomes all friends and family to join them in celebrating Maurice’s life following the funeral service at Tanyard Springs Clubhouse located at 6920 Heritage Crossing, Glen Burnie MD, 21060. While traditional attire is welcome, to honor his vibrant spirit, the family welcomes guests to wear cream and/or navy.
