Melvin James Morenz

Melvin James Morenz was born December 6, 1938, in Tolono, Illinois to the late Paul Albert and Rhoda Elizabeth Lockard Morenz and has lived in Glen Burnie for the past 45 years. He proudly served in the United States Navy for 22 years. Following his time in the Navy he worked for Ford Aerospace and SAIC. Mr. Morenz was an avid ham radio operator and was a member of the Ham Radio Society and the Amateur Radio Society.  He was also fond of watching western movies. In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his beloved wife Jennifer Gorman Morenz and a son Paul A. Morenz.  Left to cherish his memory are his son John C. Morenz of Linthicum, daughter Melody Damalouji of Prince Frederick, sister Eleanor C. Knapp of Missouri and grandchildren Lily, Sam and Jack Damalouji.

Family and friends may attend the Service on Thursday, February 13, 2025, 10:00am at Crownsville MD Veterans Cemetery in the Chapel.
