Merle K. Gray

She was born Merle Kathleen Lawrence in England on April 8, 1938 to the late Geoffrey and Gwen Little Lawrence and has lived in Glen Burnie since 1973. She was a floral designer for several Glen Burnie areas florists during her working life. She was a gifted seamstress and gardener who treasured time spent with her granddaughter Emerson as she was growing up. She enjoyed day bus trips to New York and always looked forward to her yearly trip back to England to spend time with family. Left to treasure her memory are her sons Daniel G. Gray of Crofton and William J. Gray of Glen Burnie as well as brother Ian Lawrence of England, sisters Pat Wooten of Lakewood, CO and Jill Fox and Carol Stokes, both of England. She is also survived by grandchildren Emerson Ming Gray, William and Brennan Tucker.
