Michael A. Bentz

On March 3, 2011, Michael A. Bentz passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 58.  A lifelong resident of Glen Burnie, Mike proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. A painter by trade, he worked in the Coast Guard Yard in Curtis Bay and even owned his own painting business at one time.  Mike was a 15 year member of the American Legion Post 40. He loved music, coin collecting, football and working in the yard. Beloved son of Geraldine (Geri) F. Williams (Glen Burnie) and the late Charles E. Bentz: Caring father of April Bentz (Pennsylvania); Dearest nephew of Ted & Bev Givens (Balto. Highlands); Cherished cousin of Linda Evans (Hagerstown). He was predeceased by his brother David Haspart.  Mike is also survived by his spoiled beagle, Mr. B.
