Michael James Hohrein, Sr. was born in Baltimore on September 22, 1956 to Clayton Jerome and Shirley Marie (Stroh) Harrison. After his military service, Mike was a truckdriver and a cab driver for many years. He loved driving. He also had a love for watches and later in his life discovered a talent for repairing and building them. He will be greatly missed by so many.
Michael leaves behind his children; Michael James Hohrein, Jr. (Christine) of Pasadena, Melissa Koontz (Chad) of Pasadena, Marsha Hohrein of Glen Burnie, Michelle Bell (Jason) of Brooklyn Park; siblings, Linda Lanasa of Pasadena, Clayton Hohrein, Jr. (Gloria) of the Eastern Shore, Bonnie Rubenstein (Russell) of Brooklyn Park, Patricia Buracker of Brooklyn Park, Clark Hohrein (Barbara) of Baltimore, Joyce Canoles of North Carolina, Joseph Harrison (Cookie) of Baltimore Highlands, Mary Schultheis (Frank) of Ohio; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kathy M. (Garlic) Hohrein; and siblings, Larry Hohrein and Shirley Farmer.
Family and friends may visit on April 12, 2021, 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm with Funeral Services April 13, 2021 at 10 AM at the KIRKLEY-RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME, 421 Crain Hwy. SE, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
