Michael A. Parys

Michael A. Parys was born in Maryland on January 21, 1945 and was a longtime resident of Lanham area, living for a short while in Havre De Grace before moving to Millersville several years ago. He proudly served in the United States Army. During his working career Michael was an electronics repairman for Ritz Audio & Video. He was an avid weight lifter, in earlier days he enjoyed racing go-karts. He enjoyed working on cars and was especially fond of old Mustangs. He is preceded by his daughter Tammy Parys. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Deborah J. Parys (nee Scheibach) of Millersville and daughters Sabrina Mejia of Elkridge and Kimberly Thomas of Glen Burnie as well as brother Robert Parys of North Carolina, sisters Diane Lewis of Lanham and Linda of Arizona.  He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.  Mr. Parys passed away at the Rebecca Fortney Inpatient care center of Hospice of the Chesapeake following an extended illness.
