Mildred Agnes Thomas

Mildred Agnes Thomas was born September 11, 1918 to the late Albert and Agnes Howard. Mrs. Thomas enjoyed reading, fishing, embroidering, gardening, the ocean, and eating crabs. As a mother she was an example of dedication to God, faithful service to the church and unending devotion to her children. She was also known as a jokester, and it was said that if she punched, pinched or joked with you, you knew you were loved.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Howard Thomas and his wife Juanita of Pasadena, Beverly Middleton and her husband Gary of East New Market, Beatrice Sheets and her husband David of Vienna, VA, sister Mary Derr, 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George C. Thomas, siblings James Howard, Vergie Johnson, Viola Yoder, Dorothy Walls, and Alberta Stigall.

Mrs. Thomas passed away November 6, 2018 at the age of 100.
