Milford L. Purdham Sr.

On January 24, 2010, Milford L. Purdham Sr. of Glen Burnie passed away at home. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Purdham; Loving father of Linda L. King and husband James of Arizona and Milford Jr. of Glen Burnie; Dearest companion of Nancy Hall of Glen Burnie; Cherished grandfather of Rhonda Lynn Nicholson and her husband Billy and great-grandfather of Larry Starlings III and David Wiseman Jr.  He is predeceased by three brothers, John Henry, James and Christopher Purdham and one granddaughter, Renee Lee Neslein.  Born in Severn, Mildford was a lifelong resident of Glen Burnie.  He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy.  He worked for National Plastics for 23 years as a warehouse man.  He then drove a truck for Mountainside Transport, which delivers for Superfresh, for 13 years before retiring.  Milford was a member of the Severn Full Gospel Pentecostal Church.  He enjoyed Nascar, bowling and playing cards.  He also enjoyed woodworking and would make wishing wells.
