Milton Lyle Grisham was born on Thursday, November 26, 1936, to Earl Ralph and Lucille Marie (Hobson) Grisham. After graduation, Milton joined the Navy and served his country from 1958 – 1964. He worked as an estimator for the Environmental Elements Corporation and was a member of the Rejoice Lutheran Church; formerly, Peace Lutheran. Milton was also a member of the Ferndale Club, Elks Club, the Ravens Roost, and the Ravens Nest. He enjoyed golf and bowling, but his biggest enjoyment was spending time with his family, camping, flounder fishing and the memories that were made over the years at the Beach House in Assateague Island.
Milton is preceded by his parents, Earl Ralph Grisham and Lucille Marie (Hobson) Grisham; wife, Patricia J. (Elliott) Grisham. He is survived by his children, Tracey Marie Phoebus (Dave) of Severn, Mark Steven Grisham (Dawn) of Elkridge; grandchildren, Erika Marie Phoebus, Garrett Sean Phoebus, Steven Lyle Grisham, Sara Elizabeth Partyka and James Vernon Grisham; great grandchildren, Colton Jack Grisham – Yecco and Jolene Elizabeth Partyka. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.
Family and friends may call at the KIRKLEY-RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Sunday, 3:00pm - 7:00pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, 10:00am from the funeral home. Interment is private at the Crownsville MD VA Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Association and/or St. Jude’s.
