Murray Joseph Adams Jr., a graduate of the University of Baltimore with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, 83, resident of Catonsville, passed away suddenly at his residence with his wife by his side, after a lengthy illness. Murray was born on Thursday, July 28, 1938, in Baltimore, Maryland to Murray Joseph Adams Sr. and Emma V. (Rowzee) Adams. Murray served his country, a retired Marine and he has been named a member of the American Institute of Corporate Controllers and a member of the Baltimore Jaycees, served as president of Cashiers Association of Baltimore. He loved cars, particularly hot rods and loved to watch Football and Baseball. He loved to dance, and "Big Daddy" was a great dancer.
Murray is preceded by his parents, Murray Joseph Adams Sr. and Emma V. (Rowzee) Adams; sister Jeanne Banke and his son Timothy Adams. He is survived by his wife Gloria (Nuestro) Uy of Catonsville; son, Murray Joseph III; daughter, Cynthia Adams; stepchildren, Becky Sheila Uy Gutierrez, Ritzmond Gerry Nuestro Uy, Czarina Cynthia Uy Gratela and Katheryn Jenny Uy Pullon; brother, Michael Kevin Adams (Corazon) of Jessup; sisters Dolores Schott and Jane Joines (Frank) of North Carolina; grandfather of 11 and a great grandfather of 1.
Services and Interment will be held on Friday, July 22nd, 10AM at the Meadowridge Memory Park.
