In loving memory of Nannie Kate Dove, who graced this world with her presence on July 25, 1934, in Cocke County, Tennessee, and departed on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, in the warmth of her residence in Camden, South Carolina. Nannie led a life enriched by simple joys and profound love, embodying the sentiment that "the best things in life are the people we love, the places we’ve been, and the memories we’ve made along the way." A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, her life was a testament to the beauty of cherished moments spent with family, her greatest treasure.
Nannie's hobbies; sewing, crafts, and gardening were not just pastimes but expressions of her love and creativity. A steadfast member of the Lakeshore Church of God, she found solace and strength in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, always offering kindness and support to those around her. Her spirit was one of resilience and compassion, qualities that left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Janice Yevonne Caldwell (Leonard) of Camden; brothers, Kenneth Lane and Wesley Bruce Lane; sister, Julia Ann Knox; grandchildren, Christopher Michael Caldwell (Amber), Brandon Keith Caldwell (Christie), Kelly Yevonne Anderson (Chris) and Valen Ann Cook (Jamie); 11 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, William Richard Dove; parents, James Glenn and Gypsy Bonnie Brady Lane; daughter, Bonnie Lynn Dove; brothers, D.F. Lane, James Lane, glen Lane, and Welton Lane; and sister, Mary Ruth Lane.
