Born Norma Marie Dittmar in Baltimore, MD on May 14, 1921 to Robert R. Dittmar, Sr. and his wife Josephine Christiana Dittmar (nee Herd) passed away on March 7, 2013. A resident of Glen Burnie for many years, she also resided inWestminter, Frederick, Mount Airy and on the Eastern Shore before returning to Anne Arundel County several years ago. She was a Graduate of Glen Burnie High School and worked as a bookkeeper for her husband's business. She was always an active member of her church and loved to share her faith with others. She belonged to Glen Lutheran Church and Peace Lutheran Church in Glen Burnie, St. John's Lutheran Church in Westminster, Life of Jesus Church in Frederick and Mt. Airy Full Gospel Church as well as belonging to Women's Aglow. She enjoyed playing the organ, stitchwork, bus trips with the Ladies Aid Society. She went out with a group of friends who called themselves "the merry widows". She loved taking care of her family and her home, doing all sorts of projects inside and outside of her home. Known by her family as the "Pink Flash" because of her pink 1957 Chevy. In addition to her parents she is preceeded in death by her 2 husbands William Grundman and Paul Grundman. Norma is survived by children Janet Barker of Denton, Gloria Dzambo of Berlin, MD, Jodie Hawk of Glen Burnie, Amanda Yerks of Fair Oaks, CA and brothers Arthur Dittmar of Lake Wales, FL, Leslie Dittmar of Millersville, MD and Robert Dittmar, Jr. of Glen Burnie as well as 23 Grandchildren, 24 Great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
