Born Norma Carol Koch on August 19, 1933 in Pennsauken, NJ to the late George and Hazel Stilwill Koch. She was a resident of Maryland for over 55 years, first living in Chadwick Manor before moving to Westminster in 1997. For many years she worked in the mail room at the Trinitarian Monastery prior to retirement. Norma was a Past Worthy Matron of her Eastern Star Chapter in New Jersey and was a leader of Job's Daughters in Maryland with her daughter Kathie. She was always active in the lives of her church and her children and made friends easily. She enjoyed ceramics, caring for her dogs, shopping, baking and summers at the beach in Lavallette, NJ. She was always known for her sense of style and she never left the house without being "put together". In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ruddick is preceded in death by her devoted husband Edward A. Ruddick and her adoring granddaughter Kimberly L. Browning and sisters Helen Francis and Mildred Stewart. Left to cherish her memory are her children Albert G. Ruddick and his wife Rose of Jessup, Scott A. Ruddick and his wife Cheryl of Millersville, Mark S. Ruddick and his wife Susan of Finksburg and Kathie L. Browning and her husband Gary of Westminster. She is also survived by 8 cherished grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She passed away peacefully at the Copper Ridge Memory Care Center in Sykesville and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
