Oakley Clarence Willard Jr.

On October 23, 2011, Oakley Clarence Willard Jr. of Glen Burnie passed away at the age of 88. Born on April 3, 1923 in Rural Retreat, Virginia, Clarence lived in Glen Burnie since 1969. Beloved husband of the late Elsie L. Willard and the late Helen L. Willard; Loving special friend of Gertrude Mabe; Beloved father of Brenda Lorince of Glen Burnie and Anita Wilkerson and her fiance Ricky Barbour of Thaxton, Va.; Cherished grandfather of Shannon Landefeld and her husband Bill and Kristin Kidd and her husband John; Caring great-grandfather of Megan and Amy Landefeld and Davis and Kate Kidd. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Clarence proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He worked as a welder for General Motors until he retired. He enjoyed exercise, gospel music and attending his church. He also liked going to family reunions, watching old westerns and enjoying a good meal.
