Oliver W. Griffith, Jr.

Oliver W. "Sonny" Griffith, Jr. was born July 15, 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late
Oliver W. Griffith, Sr. and Blanche K. Griffith (nee Allender) and has lived in Linthicum for the past 50 Years. Mr. Griffith retired as a warehouse manager for Sherwin Williams, where he worked for 38 years. He was a member of the Willow Grove Rod & Gun Club as well as the American Legion.  Sonny enjoyed cooking, playing horse shoes and cards.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers and sisters as well as a grandson, Joseph Reyes.  He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Joan A. Buckland Griffith of Linthicum and his daughters Robin Rohleder of Delaware, Katherine Reyes of Glen Burnie and Patricia "Patty” Russell (and son-in-law Marc Russell) of Forest Hill. Mr. Griffith is also survived by grandchildren Lacey and Chelsea Rohleder, Ryan Reyes and Austin Russell and great-grandchildren Logan Rohleder and Madison Cesenaro.  He passed away peacefully at Glen Burnie Health & Rehab. Center on May 19, 2018 and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
