Patricia M. Cassell

Patricia M. Cassell (nee Ruda) passed away on July 2, 2015. Born in Pennsylvania to the late Joseph and Laura T.(nee Sulewski) Ruda on March 29, 1949. She has lived in Maryland for over 40 years and was a cashier at Safeway. Patricia enjoyed playing Bingo at Bingo World every Thursday as well as her yearly VA Beach Bingo trip. She was a sports fan and liked being on her I pad. She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Cassell, Jr. of Gambrills; daughters, Laura L. Cassell of Gambrills, Katy N. Purkey and her husband, Joshua of Falling Waters, WV; sisters, Carol Travaglino of Chatham, MA; grandchildren, Natalie, Nicole, Nathan Purkey and Cameron M. Cassell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Joseph's Church, 1283 Odenton Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 11:00AM.
