She was born Patricia Ann Baer on May 12, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Carl Baer and Myrtle Robinson Baer and she was a resident of Anne Arundel County for 66 years. She took great pride in caring for her home and family as well as her dogs. She was called the “matriarch” of her family, always reaching out to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren as well as her many nieces and nephews with a helpful or encouraging word. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McGuire is preceded by her beloved husband Curtis J. McGuire and six of her brothers and sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Gregory D. McGuire of Pasadena and Rickey S. McGuire of Owings, MD, daughter Pamela J. Wilson of Martinsburg, WV and brother Douglas Baer of Pasadena. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
