Patricia A. Sacchetti

Patricia A. Sacchetti, a resident of Glen Burnie, passed away on March 18, 2016 surrounded by her family.  Born in Brockway, PA to the late James and Eva Helena (nee Fuhs) Whalen.  She worked at Lit Brothers, Acme Store, Curtis Publishing Company Philadelphia and Chicago Northshore between 1945 and 1950.  Patricia became a full time mother in 1951 and stayed in the home until 1967.  She decided to go back to work in 1967 and worked for Hochschild-Kohn, Hutzlers, Value City and Price Club/Costco where she retired in 2000.  Patricia was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the American Legion 276 Auxiliary.  She enjoyed reading mysteries, crossword puzzles, baking, traveling and playing cards.  Mrs. Sacchetti is survived by her sons, Nicholas V. Sacchetti and his wife, Terri of Severna Park, Michael Sacchetti and his wife, Denise of Glen Burnie; daughters, Susan Hayward and her husband, Jerry of Severna Park, Laura Darr of Laurel; grandchildren, Jennifer Lehman Beach, Morgan Sacchetti, Christopher Hayward, Lauren Price; great grandchildren, Connor Beach, Nora Beach, Ryan Beach and Zinnia Price.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas J. Sacchetti; daughter, Kathleen Lehman and son in law, Bill Darr.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bello Machre, Inc.

Services being handled by Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home, P.A.  Friends and Family may gather at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy, S, Glen Burnie, MD on Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 4-7 pm.  The family will share special memories of Patricia at 6:30 pm.  Memorial Mass to be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 7436 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd, Glen Burnie, MD on Monday, March 28th 11:00 am.  Inurnment in Crownsville Maryland Veterans Cemetery, March 28th at 2:30pm.
