Paul proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He worked as a butcher most of his life and later started his own business recycling metal. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus, the Saint Peter & Paul's Byzantine Church in Beaver Meadows and also the St. John Newman's Separated & Divorced Catholics Group. Paul had a true 'gift for gab' and loved to talk to people. He also enjoyed collecting a variety of things. Being a great cook, Paul enjoyed his kielbasa and also loved to grocery shop. A master at using coupons, he was a regular at BJ's and Costco and he knew what prices should be and who had the best around. He was excited about the new Wegman's coming to town. Paul also knew what gas station had the lowest prices in town. He liked football and was an Eagle's fan. He always had a unique talent for being able to fall asleep anywhere. Paul liked to watch the news, especially Beck and O'Reilly. He also could sing and even belonged to a Quartet while in Hazleton High School.
Paul was a very generous man who had an infectious sense of humor. He enjoyed making others laugh and was always there to lend a helping hand. Paul worried more about everyone else than he did himself. He was a unique man who was well loved and will be sorely missed.
