Born Pauline Elizabeth Querfurth in Baltimore, MD, May 18, 1918 to John and Matilda Querfurth (nee Otto) she lived in Baltimore until moving to Glen Burnie in 1947. A homemaker, she was a members of the Glen Burnie Moose, Stoney Creek Seniors, Pascal Senior Center, Red Hat Society and Tops/Kops. In her spare time she enjoyed Bowling, Dancing, Bingo, Travel, Cards, Reading and Theater. She is survived by her son Alfred F. Purkins of Glen Burnie and her daughter Paula S. Thomas of Basking Ridge, NJ. She is also survived by 6 adoring grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceeded in death by her husband George A. Purkins and a brother John Querfurth.
