Penny Winter Johns

Born Penny Winter in Baltimore, MD on October 22, 1957 to Carroll B. and Lida Winter (nee Cole). Penny was a lifelong resident of Anne Arundel County. She worked as an engineer for Verizon for 33 years. When Penny wasn't taking care of her family or working, she enjoyed reading, painting and doing needlework. Penny also liked lighthouses and was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America.
Penny was preceded in death by her father Carroll B. Winter. Left to cherish her memory is her mother Lida Winter (nee Cole), her beloved husband of 36 years Andrew "Bob" R. Johns, son  Joshua W. Johns, and daughter Elizabeth A. Johns, all from Severn, MD. She also leaves behind her two brothers Carroll B. Winter of Glen Burnie and Darrell L. Winter of WV. Penny passed away at Northwest Hospital in Baltimore on April 24, 2018. She will live on in the hearts of her friends and family.
