Phyllis A. Jowanowitch

On January 4, 2009, Phyllis Ann Jowanowitch passed away at the age of 76 from natural causes at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Born July 1, 1932 in Maryland, Phyllis lived in Linthicum for 30 years and in Glen Burnie previous to that. A homemaker, Phyllis enjoyed watching television (especially Emeril) and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Loving wife of the late Gary Jowanowitch; Beloved mother of Brenda L. Minnick of Baltimore, Junior A. Minnick of Mount Airy and Robert J. Minnick of Linthicum; Loving sister of Mary Redd of Virginia, Dale Layman of New York and Bob Layman of Illinois; Caring step-mother of Roger Minnick of Hagerstown, Pat Gurski of Frostburg and Joe Minnick of Centerville; Cherished grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 7. She was predeceased by her step-son Karl Minnick and her two brothers, Joe and Bill Layman.
