Ray William Fritts Sr.

On September 7, 2011, Ray William Fritts Sr. passed away. He was 64. Ray was born in raised in Glen Burnie, but later lived in Baltimore and most recently in Freeland, Maryland. Devoted husband of 40 years to Glenda M. Fritts (nee Kingsmore); Loving son of Norma Jean Fritts and the late Elzie R. Fritts; Beloved father of Ray Jr. and his wife Laura and Melissa L. Crowe; Caring brother of Verna Mae Smeltz and her husband Bill; Adoring grandfather of Jeffrey Rankin, Sydni Fritts and Cody and Shane Crowe; Wonderful uncle of Lisa Hagerty and her husband Brian and Michael Smeltz and his wife Tammy; Caring son-in-law of Doris Kingsmore; Cherished friend and family member of Mavis Jeannory; Loving great-uncle of Shawn and Shannon Hagerty and Ashley and Ryan Smeltz. Ray proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marines. He worked for General Motors for 33 years before retiring 14 years ago. Ray loved being on his tractor and working on his farm with all his animals. Most especially, he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
