Raymond Pompanio was born April 13, 1935, in Pennsylvania to the late Louis and Stella Ross Pompanio and has been a resident of Millersville for the past 62 Years. During his working life Mr. Pompanio was a computer programmer with American Oil Company for 10 years, IBM for twenty years and the Social Security Administration for the next 20 years. He was an avid golfer and had two holes in ones, bowling, baseball & lacrosse for which he received a college scholarship. He was a painter, a gardener and in earlier days an avid dancer. Raymond was a fan of the Orioles and the Ravens and had a great interest in investments.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his brother Bobby Pompanio. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 69 years Barbara J. Althur Pompanio; his daughters Karen and Gina Pompanio, Debbie Chaney and Toni Jarvis; his brothers Norman and Richard Pompanio; his grandchildren Raymond Chaney, Brittany Jarvis and Alexandra Roosen (Zach) and his great-grandson Harlen Roosen.
Family and friends may visit the KIRKLEY RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 6, 2025, 10:00am at the funeral home. Interment is private.
