Remphan "Rem" Tolentino Lomat, 8, died with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer on March 7, 2015. Rem was born on November 16, 2006 to his proud parents, Rowell and Florife (Tolentino) Lomat at Harbour Hospital in Baltimore. He was a student of George Cromwell Elementary School; loved Math and Reading, especially his favorite bed time story, "Hot Rod Hamster". He enjoyed chocolate, chicken nuggets, ice cream, playing outside in the snow, with Legos or his many Tsum Tsums and especially the time spent in his "Hobbit House". Going to Virginia Beach collecting sea shells was a must that always guaranteed a smile. His dedication and weekly donations to the African Orphans will always remind us of his kind heart and soul. Rem is preceded by his paternal grandfather, Benjamin Lomat. He is survived by his parents; brother, Roel Lomat; sister, Irrah Lomat; paternal grandmother Elvira Lomat; maternal grandparents, Benjamin and Cecilia Tolentino; nine aunts and uncles; several cousins and a host of family and friends.
