On February 28, 2010, Richard (Rick) Elmer Johnson of Glen Burnie passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was 64. Born in Baltimore, Rick lived in Glen Burnie for 35 years. He worked as a longshoreman for 30 years until he retired. Rick was a member fo the NRA and the National Trap Shooting Association. In addition to trap shooting, he also enjoyed researching the family genealogy. Rick invested years into the complex process of tracing the family lineages and history. He also liked building and using computers. He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Linda J. Johnson (nee Parker); his loving children Yvonne Anderson of Pasadena, Becky Johnson of Glen Burnie and Richard Johnson II of Glen Burnie; his caring sister Anna Linderborn of Baltimore. He was the cherished grandfather of five. Rick was predeceased by his brother Harry.
