Richard J. Morris Sr.

On February 22, 2009, Richard "Rich" James Morris Sr. lost his long and courageous battle with cancer. He was 87.  Born in Waterloo, Iowa, Rich lived in Glen Burnie since 1985.  Beloved father of Richard J. Morris Jr. of Houston, TX, Ronald J. Morris of Crofton, Rebecca J. Benjamin of Crofton and Randall J. Morris of Crofton; Loving brother of Alice Pergakis of Seattle, Washington and H. Roy Morris of Virginia; Cherished grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 9.  He was predeceased by two sisters, Madge Harris and Jean McKee.

Rich served his country as a member of the United States Navy and served in both WWII and the Korean Conflict.  He worked as an Internal Revenue Agent with the government until retiring after 30 years of service.  He was a member of the Masons and the Corvair Club.  Rich enjoying golfing, bowling, square dancing and playing bridge.
