Richard F. Quade of Pasadena was born July 12, 1929 in Wells, Mn. to Gustav and Frances Quade (nee Anders) After serving honorably in the Air Force from 1949 to 1957 he married Gladys M. Cooper and they moved to Pasadena where he has lived since. He worked for over 32 years as an electrical technician at Westinghouse. He attended Elvaton Baptist Church and was a member of the Republican Club in Glen Burnie. In his spare time Mr. Quade enjoyed Gardening, Campling, Reading, and he was the electrical handyman to his family, church, neighbors and friends, always offering a helping hand to others. In addition to his wife he is survived by sons Richard F. Quade, Jr. of Elkridge, Stuart R. Quade of Pasadena and Steven L. Quade of Silver Spring. He is also survived by brother Gustav Quade of Texas, William E. Quade of Las Vegas and sisters Deanice S. Baum of Colorado, Maisel G. McGlone of Austin, TX and Joyce M. Sorg of Wisconcin as well as 5 loving grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He passed away Aug. 6, 2011 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center after a brief illness.
