Ritchie Steven Pearson, born on January 5, 1964, at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, was the beloved son of Carrie Pearson and the late Gene R. Pearson. A proud graduate of Old Mill High School and Anne Arundel Community College, Ritchie further distinguished himself by earning a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Maryland.
A true lover of the outdoors, Ritchie found joy in camping, hiking, gardening, and tending to the lawn around his home. His passion for life extended to being an ardent supporter of the Baltimore Orioles and the Ravens, highlighted by his attendance at Cal Ripken Jr.’s historic 2,131st consecutive game. Ritchie’s enthusiasm for Ford Mustangs, scuba diving, and wrestling playfully with his dogs, Sparky and Jake, showcased his vibrant and dynamic spirit.
An avid reader and music aficionado, he cherished first editions of Stephen King novels and cultivated an extensive collection of records from the 1970s, embracing the diverse sounds of that remarkable era.
Mr. Pearson is preceded in death not only by his father but also by his brothers, Gene R. Pearson, Jr. and Gary Pearson. He leaves behind his loving mother, Carrie B. Pearson of Millersville; his sister, Charlene Barone (Jim) of Millersville; and cherished nephews James (Donya) and Jason Barone.
Ritchie Steven Pearson passed away suddenly, leaving a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His memory endures as a testament to a life richly lived, full of warmth, passion, and unwavering devotion to family and friends.
