Robert L. Belt

Robert L. Belt was born in Marion County, WV on May 7, 1933 to Clarence O. and Marjorie (Shreve) Belt. He lived in Anne Arundel County for most of his life. He retired from the Mass Transit Administration where he worked as a Mechanic. A member of the Pascal Senior Center and the Stoney Creek Senior Club, Bob enjoyed Dancing, Travel, Trips to Florida and day trips to the casinos. In addition to his parents he is preceeded in death by his wife Rosa Lee Belt (nee Perry) and a sister Barbara Morris. He is survived by daughters Dianna Bowen of Colorado, Pamela Bell of Bradenton, FL, Brenda Irving of Syracuse, NY, Karen Smith of Glen Burnie and Laura Belt of Lansdowne as well as brothers Albert Belt of WV, Clarence David, Larry and Daniel Belt of Morrell Park and sisters Katherine O'Donnell of VA & Retta Boylen of NC. Bob is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Bob will be greatly missed by his companion of many years Donna Hagedorn. He passed away peacefully at Baltimore Washington Medical Center after an extended illness.
