Robert Raymond Dittmar, Jr.

Robert Raymond Dittmar, Jr. was born March 5, 1918 in Baltimore, MD to the late Robert Raymond Dittmar, Sr. and the late Josephine C. Dittmar (nee Herd). A resident of Glen Burnie for 73 years, Mr. Dittmar retired as a Supervisor of the paint shop at Globe Metal Products after 43 years of service. He was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Odenton. His hobbies included growing tomatoes and Rose Bushes. He was an avid Oriole fan. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dittmar is preceeded in death by his sister Norma Grundman. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Myrtle I. Dittmar (nee Hook) his son Robert Raymond Dittmar, 3rd of Glen Burnie, his daughter Joan M. Sanborn of Glen Burnie and his brothers Arthur Dittmar of Florida and Leslie Dittmar of Elvaton. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
