Robert S. Gordy

Robert S. Gordy passed away on August 3, 2014. He was born in Maryland to the late Herman and Alice (nee Savage) Gordy in May of 1926. Robert retired as a Tug Boat First Mate who served in the Army Air Corp and was a member of Granite Presbyterian Church as well as a Mason for over 50 years in the Warren Lodge #51. He was an avid lover of the water which included any activity that could be done on the water. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles, Orioles Baseball, Ravens Football and traveling. Mr. Gordy is survived by his Beloved wife, Beverly Virginia Gordy of Glen Burnie; sister, Mary White of NC; granddaughter, Aimee Schafer and her husband David of Severn; great grandchildren, Stephanie and Ethan Schafer of Severn. In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his daughter, Colleen Beverly Greenberg; brother, Paul Gordy and sister, Margaret Gordy.
