On July 18, 2011, Robert (Bob) R. Grundman Sr. of Parkville, previously of Glen Burnie (5 years), Grasonville (15 years) and Delaware (10 years). Beloved husband of Gail M. Grundman (nee Fennelly); Loving father of Dolores A. Smith of Glen Burnie, John P. Kehs of Severn, James W. Kehs of Pasadena, Mark Jason Grundman of Laurel and Robert Grundman Jr. of Annapolis; Caring step-father of Bryce G. Riebel of N.C. and Tena M. Mannion of Parkville; Loving brother of Philip Grundman of Havre de Grace and Mary Lee Lake of Glen Burnie; Cherished grandfather of nine and step-grandfather of one; Adoring great-grandfather of one. He was predeceased by his late wife Dominica V. Grundman and his son John E. Grundman. Bob proudly served his country as a member of the United State Navy, having served in Vietnam. He worked for 25 years for NSA until he retired. He was a member of the Arundel Christian Church and also the VFW in Grasonville. Bob was fascinated with trains and enjoyed collecting them, as well we belonging to the M.A.R.R.S. (Meade Area Railroad Society). He was an avid reader and enjoyed billiards and bowling. Bob was an excellent handyman, a 'tinkerer', and would often get involved with various construction projects for his family. He recently discovered a love of sailing and always enjoyed being at the beach. Kind to animals, he also loved the family cats and dog "Snuggles". Most especially, Bob loved spending time with his family.
