Robert Linwood Harris
November 24, 1926 — March 19, 2014
Robert L. Harris of Glen Burnie passed away on March 19, 2014. Born in Baltimore to the late Robert Lee and Sarah (nee Pittman) Harris. Robert was a retired Baltimore City Fire Chief and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Brooklyn, the Moose Lodge, Retired Fire Officers and Arundel Singers. He enjoyed singing, telling stories, reading and playing the piano or organ. Mr. Harris is survived by his son, Linwood A. Harris of Glen Burnie; daughters, Susan L. B'Naity of Tampa, FL, Rebecca M. Harris of Glen Burnie, Deborah L. Fogler of Tampa, FL, Carolyn A. Wade of Millersville; brother, Randolph Harris of Perry Hall; sisters, Beatrice Coverdale of New Jersey, Jean Wayson of Essex; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Elizabeth Harris (Nee Arnold); son, Robert F. Harris; sisters, Virginia Heying, Mary Horney and Ruby Lafontaine.
