Robert W. Lange, Jr., born on December 21, 1957, in Newport, Rhode Island, graced this world with his presence and touched the hearts of many. The son of Robert W. Lange, Sr. of Glen Burnie and the late Anne Mae Saxon Lange, Robert spent most of his life in Glen Burnie, where he moved in 1963 from South Baltimore. A proud 1975 graduate of Glen Burnie High School, he built a meaningful career as a surveyor with a small engineering firm, dedicating himself to his work with passion and integrity.
Robert found joy in simple pleasures—casting his line while fishing, piecing together puzzles, and cheering wholeheartedly as an avid Ravens fan. His love for sports and family was evident to all who knew him. Though he was preceded in death by his beloved mother and his cherished daughter, Hope Lange, his spirit lives on through those who loved him deeply.
He leaves behind a loving legacy in his father, Robert W. Lange, Sr.; his devoted sons, Robert H. Lange and Adam C. Lange; his brothers, Thomas and Donald Lange; his sister, Linda Woodall; and his treasured grandchildren, Kaylee Saunders and Iris Lange as well as his longtime companion Cristina Martin. As we remember Robert, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by warmth, dedication, and the quiet strength of a man who meant so much to his family and community.
Family and friends may visit at the Kirkley Ruddick Funeral Home on Thursday, 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral service, Friday, 11am, at the funeral home. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
