Robert E. Miles

Robert E. Miles was born December 31, 1920 in Baltimore, MD to Albert Francis Miles and Bertha Norine Miles (nee Hoffman). He lived in Glen Burnie since 1952. A welding supervisor, he also enjoyed teaching welding and took great pride in helping Viet Nam Veterans find employment as welders. He enjoyed trips to Ocean City, Crabs and was an avid Oriole fan.  He was a member of the American Welding Society. In addition to his parents, Mr. Miles is preceded in death by his wife K. Bernice Miles, 8 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his son R. Scott Miles of Severna Park and his wife Debbie & his brother Irvin Miles of Ocean City, MD. He is also survived by loving grandchildren Stephanie N. Wishart and R. Scott Miles, Jr. as well as great-grandchidren Thomas F. and Rachel Wishart.  Mr. Miles passed away at the Compass Regional Hospice in Centreville surrounded by his family.
